Effective date: November 2, 2026
Our goal
Brivoy is a place for makers to share real work and for people to discover it. These guidelines explain what is welcome, what is not, and what happens when something goes wrong. They are part of our Terms of service.
What is welcome
- Honest product updates, version notes and changelogs.
- Real milestones, with numbers you can stand behind.
- Stories about how and why you build, including what went wrong.
- Clear asks for feedback, testers or collaborators.
- Constructive, respectful comments and reviews.
What is not allowed
- Spam: repeated or copied posts, link dumps, off-topic promotion.
- Fake content: invented milestones, reviews, votes or reactions, impersonation.
- Bots and automation: fake or duplicate accounts and any script that posts, votes, reacts or reports for you.
- Scams and harmful links: phishing, malware, deceptive pages.
- Illegal or infringing content and anything that exposes private information.
- Harassment, hate and explicit content.
- Manipulation: trading votes or reactions, or trying to game rankings, awards or badges.
Updates and rankings
Updates, stories, status changes, reactions and comments on updates are shown in their own sections. They are not votes and never change a product’s place in daily rankings, awards, Featured or Editor’s Choice.
Reporting something
Use the flag button on a product, update, review or comment and choose the closest reason, including spam, fake content or bot activity. Please add a short note if it helps. Reports are private. Please report in good faith: repeated false reports can lead to restrictions.
What happens next
- Hidden while we check. Content with several independent reports is hidden automatically until a person reviews it.
- Review. We either restore the content or remove it.
- Removal and strikes. Removed content counts as a strike against the author. After repeated strikes the account is automatically restricted from posting updates and comments.
- Serious or repeated violations can lead to a rejected listing, a suspension or a permanent ban.
Appeals
If you believe we got it wrong, contact us through the details on our site, tell us which content or restriction you mean and why. We will review it again.
